Apparently I'm an ENFP, which essentially means that i am an "inspirer". and that journalist is a good career option for me and that's what i want to do so that excited me.

i miss doing this so much. i miss the kids. i miss the co-workers. i miss my crazy boss. i even miss getting up at six am saturday mornings.
lifeguarding's great and all, but getting down there with the kids? watching them make it down the hill for the first time? it pretty much beats any high i've ever experienced. i can't wait till next winter so i can start doing this again. working with kids is me at my best, and i say that whole-heartedly. i want to get back to it. right now.

So, I will admit that at times (often times...) I am a huge music snob.
I can't help it, but my music tastes generally are just... better.

Despite all this, when it was announced that "Tinted Windows" was going to be a band, I was semi-excited.
Why?
Because the four members of Tinted Windows are...
1) An Ex-Hanson
2) An Ex-Smashing Pumpkin
3) An Ex-Fountains of Wayne
4) An Ex-Cheap Trick.

And I LOVE The Smashing Pumpkins, Fountains of Wayne (Guilty pleasure) & Cheap Trick (Another guilty pleasure). And I figured that maybe the Hanson brother's voice got decent since he hit puberty.
I had high hopes.

I was wrong.
The music is catchy, but my fourteen year old brother could write better hooks & lyrics.
I, for one, am severely disappointed.

But my question is: Am I being a music snob? Or do they actually suck?

I want to go to every single concert I can afford with my husband, rocking a huge baby bump.
I want to have a beautiful son, who doesn't feel the same sort of pressure I did growing up
I want to write things that change people.
I want to drive my son to school and kiss my husband every morning.
I want to pack them both lunches with pre-peeled oranges.
I want to tuck my son in every night, and promise against monsters under the bed.
I want to make love (not have sex... make love) to my husband after our son's asleep.
I want to play with my son in the park every weekend, and buy ice cream from trucks, and run around.
I want to laugh with my family till it hurts.
I want to have a dog that'll grow up with my family.
I want to have a group of friends that lasts a lifetime
I want to be happy
I want to have good music to listen to, and good people to love.

Is that too much to ask?

school is insane.
i have a chemistry test monday that was assigned yesterday
i have a math assignment monday that was assigned yesterday
i have a history paper assigned tuesday due today

it's too much. in addition to all this, i have work both days this weekend.
i also have to sleep and eat somewhere in there, and i'd kind of like to be social.
but i can't because of all this work. and it's going to kill me. very slowly.
